Explosion-proof lamp of the PTE-ExD series

It can be used as a standalone stationary or portable lighting device

The housing is made of aluminum alloy GOST 1583-93 and provides explosion protection type d “flameproof enclosure” according to GOST IEC 60079-10-1-2011 and type t “from dust ignition” according to GOST R IEC 60079.31-2010.

In the lamp PTE-ExDM we used LED modules based on nanoporous alumina, which allowed to increase heat removal from LED crystals in times compared to traditional aluminium boards (modules). In conditions of small-size housing of PTE-ExDM lamp such solution allows efficient use of LEDs with total power (up to 20W) exceeding the values allowed for LED matrices in classic version on aluminium substrate.

Light efficiency – up to 130 Lm/W

The application of LEDs from Samsung  LM561B Plus series , which are manufactured in a case with improved heatsink – confirmed by tests according to the standard LM 80-also contributes to the extension of the life of the lamp PTE-ExDM, which allows it to be used in the most severe operating conditions.
The PTE-ExDM lamp  is used for lighting mines, corridors, boilers, pipelines in the process of repair and technological work, as well as wherever space saving and good lighting are needed. Additional ribbing of the housing made of a special aluminum-based alloy provides good heat dissipation. The possibility of transit connection of lamps, as well as all possible variants of attachment to vertical, horizontal and inclined surfaces, to pipe 3/4, to rotary suspension, etc., makes PTE-ExDM lamp indispensable for illumination of hard-to-reach, narrow and small-sized spaces.

Overheating of the lamp is excluded even in case of severe contamination of the housing

The special feature of the design of the housing of the PTE-ExDM makes it possible to use it on special vehicles and mechanisms operating under heavy operating conditions in areas where explosive dust or gas mixtures may appear. Nizhny Novgorod Special Vehicle Center actively uses these lamps.

Additionally, the lamp can be equipped with  explosion-proof cable entries for armoured cable or with attachment for metal hose.

PTE-ExDM in low-voltage version “NV” (in AC and DC circuits 12; 24; 36 V) makes it possible to use it as a portable explosion-proof lamp during repair of tanks and oil pipelines, as well as to use it on various mobile installations – drilling, pumping, etc., according to the category of explosion protection 1 Ex db op is llC T5 Gb / Ex tb IIIC Т100°С Db.
